Ever wonder how to enable or disable the EITMS aboard your Harley-Davidson Touring model? Or do you even know what those letters mean? Well, EITMS stands for Engine Idle Temperature Management System, and in simple terms, it cuts off one cylinder during idling if the bike reaches a certain temperature. This process cuts engine heat when your oil-cooled motorcycle is sitting in traffic and not getting the airflow necessary to cool the fins.
